As the duly elected "2009 Trojan Boater of the Year", I want to kick off the elections for the
2010 Trojan Boater of the Year
This person should be the one who best exhibits a love of Trojans, provides helpful tips, advice and encouragement to his fellow Trojan owners, and enjoys a bit of humor in the process.
I have some nominees in mind, but would like to hear yours. We should be able to complete voting and elect our Trojan leader on November 2nd.
I'm going to try to use the Poll option built-into this bulletin board, so please bear with me. I will add candidate to the poll as you send them to me.

Pauls' has mine, Always ready to give info ( right or wrong) haha but to info is good stuff and will up you think a problem through. And as a fellow boater he'll do anything he can to even if it means pulling a boat made in Wisconsin off a sandbar at low tide h

Hey Capt. Ross, How about some background on this subject. I've always wondered about your "Title" and how you got it. I suspect there may be some other curious 'nubees' out there too. Thanx Larry
I started this last December( Trojan boater of the year award ) . The idea was to honor a Trojan boater that has help others here or elsewhere be it online or hands on with there Trojans or other boats , help promote " Trojans " and keep the brand a live Rossjo was was the choice of many here
When you do give a choice , please give a why( makes it interesting , this is rossjo's baby this year But I wrote the the book so I can put my 2 cents in .

Life is to short for a ugly boat
Larry - there you have it - it was Paul's "invention" in the fall of 2009. It was fun, and somehow I won because I can't stop talking about boats!
Not sure what the prize will be this year (wish we could still get Trojan pennants, but let's not go there). We're not handing out mushroom anchors, Qjet rebuild kits, anti-freeze, tank sealer, TowBoatUS (or SeaTow) memberships or fuel stabilizer - but chime in and we'll see what shakes. I proudly wear my prize Trojan Yachts T-Shirt around town ...
We should also have a run-off for the guy with the most (or weirdest) problems of the year.
Its a great forum - and I always say "You're never too old to learn something stupid."

Larry (PlanSea) - did you get your engine issues worked out? I've got to get my bottom cleaned (my diver's wife made him take a regular job - know a good guy?) - then ready to cruise myself.
