Pass the Malt Vinegar

Post by Big D »

Work, and live on board! Too bad you couldn't actually stick a few lines over the side to catch your own product!

Kind of neat but I think he's got the year wrong.

Kind of a neat idea for a seasonal tourist area. When I go to the North Channel, I always spend a few days in Killarney and there is a fish & chips place there that is an old school bus and they have the best fish & chips I have ever eaten.

how unique. we actually have a great fish and chips place near parkside marina. owned and operated by guy that spent time with Arthur Treacher's Fish and Chips. great product, reasonably priced and great people working there. and they also sell great chicken planks too. but i go for the fish, chips and vinegar. reminds me of living in london.
check em out!!

Jesus. "Arthur Treacher's". I remember that place!

Fish n' chips in the little folded paper/cardboard cups, and of course, the malt vinegar!

Man, that was a while ago.

phil and i stopped in on our way to the boat and grabbed the fish and chips special. nick is a great guy and always loves chatting us up. he said that we are some of his best customers as we try to buy from him twice a month. did you read the menu? not a bad price point if you ask me, and the food is grade a quality. and he always wraps the fish and chips in newspaper like wrapping and places it in a small cardboard carton.
if you ever get down here, you should try it.
hope you all in the midwest are doing okay.

All's well up here: all boats are out of the water, leaves are off the trees. It's hunting season, then it will be ice fishing season, then it will be BOATING season.

And I can hardly contain myself until then.......... :!:
