What is the total timing for a MIE230 (GM 305) and at what rpm should it all be in at?

I believe it's 28 deg at 2900 rpm. If I recall, 1982 was the transition year from points to TB4 ignition, not that it matters for the advance curve in this case.

Found this info from a Merc Manual. Shows 8* initial and MAX of 26* advance for a total of 34* Their example of 19*+8*=25* is goofy though
