I totally agree. this is what made my decision to take on this boat. My other boat was an all wood Chris Craft and unfortunately the rot was to much to fix myself and to pricey to pay to fix.
I was a Marine Mechanic for 8 years so mechanical comes as second nature, however the wood repairs take me a bit longer. Like you say some Marine plywood, Epoxy and Cetol (or Varnish Yuck) are all you need
to do some wood repairs on these. I am very excited to restore this old girl.

I will measure my table later this week when i go back to the boat.
