deck replacment

has anyone replaced a cockpit deck themselves
im going to takle this because I need to replace some fuel tanks
and the deck has some soft spots anyway
any good helpful hints
the vessel is a 30 1974 sea raider FB

ooh maaaaannnnnnnn deja vue,,, Although we are still fairing etc. Im not going to the work to install the teak let alone the expense and maintenance.
