We are new to trojanboats.net!

Post by cmcmjk »

Hi there,

We just signed up after lurking for over a year and felt an introduction was in order!

After a year of thinking we knew what we wanted (either a Bayliner 3288 or a F-32) and trips to Ohio and Illnois we found a 1990 10 Meter Mid-Cabin in our back yard. We made her ours back at the end of April and spent every weekend aboard the boat this summer.

Unfortunatley, here in Northern Michigan we are stuck with no boat for about the next 6 months. There are a handull of things we need to figure out for winter projects and I'll be asking for ideas along the way. This isn't our first boat, and we will contribute when we can to help other members out too! I know every one likes pics and I'm trying to get them rounded up.

wow, nice boat

it looks like it's in great shape. One tip that's helpful for posting model specific questions is include "mid cabin" in the subject so the right guys will respond. As much as the 10m Express model looks the same, it's very different (inferior) to the Mid Cabin :)

General stuff, engines you really don't need to worry about that. I have a few Mid cabin videos on youtube that might help.

Welcome aboard. From the picture it looks like you were one of the last boats in at your marina this year. Nice boat.

Here's a few more pics. The interior is unique because all the early '90's colors are GONE and it has a teak and holly sole throughout!

Thanks for the welcome!

The dogs are always around, it's amazing how many of our pictures they are in!

The previous owner did the counter top in mosaic tile and removed the cook top. We do most of our cooking on a grill and have an electric frying pan that we use on the counter.
