It was designed to cater to the European market. These boats were designed with a Mediterranean flair. By the time they were looking to redesign the International series, a large portion of their sales were overseas. They wanted to cater to this market, so they recruited a very respected Italian Naval architect named Fulvio De Simoni to design the new line. Unfortunately, Trojan was forced to sell within a year.
