Mine is the same setup, was also very tight. Needed to wrap the filter in a rag because the strap wrench kept slipping due to the tightness. If worse comes to worse drive a screwdriver through it. You will need some sort of tray and or plastic liner under the filter. It is upside down and will leak ...

As it turns out my upper gauge is faulty, when disconnected the lower gauge now reads in the forty range at idle. Will be getting a new gauge for upper station.

It appears our tank is half full of solid waste. We have a round fiberglass tank that I would suggest is about 15 to 20 gallons. However we get to flush about 10 times and we are full again. Is there some way to desolve old material in the tank. We used to use raw liver in the septic system at home,...

The 80+ is my concern, when I start the engine pressure reads about 60 and the goes off the end within a minute, will try to switch starboard to port as suggested, but currently not at the boat until this sunday.
