Even if you could " remake" a Trojan( it could be done) I don't think the markit is there . as good as a trojan is to make it sellable there would have to be some changes . If i was to remake the F36 the first thing I would do is put in a better/bigger V berth . by the time I got done with updates it would not be the same boat and it would be 38 foot long .

Some good ideas & information floating out there. Heck, use as existing hull to use as a pattern to make a mold. Not a bad idea to find & redo existing boats to today's standards. Total tearout & rebuild, engines, electronics, layout, etc. Let's keep dialoging about it!

First you'd have to buy the name back from Genmar. We still have the workmanship here. The old Trojan plant in Lancaster last i knew was a potting soil co. I delivered to Coast Marine Dist. 2 doors down about 8 years ago. THE PLACE WAS HUGE ! Billy Fuccillo HUGE! The 2nd owner of my boat had a solid mohagany mast made in 1972 for $ 52.00. It was rough but i saved it. 10 coats of Captains Varnish later & it looks pretty nice.
They'll pry a rotten plank from my cold dead fingers before i go "Tupperware". http://www.photobucket.com/restless
